Our food made it out around 1:40. On Thursdays, live band karaoke is a different take on this typically bland bar singing activity. It was a little ghetto, but it worked. I also wouldn't recommend eating here if you have a vegetarian in your party. What keeps me coming back is the sweet potato fries. On this particular Wednesday evening, there was a representative from Shipyard Brewering handing out free swag and tastes of their seasonal Smashed Blueberry ale which Asgard just got on tap that day. I've also had the salmon, which was very good, and the fish and chips. The warm and cozy atmosphere is intensified by Celtic motifs and eye-catching floor-to-ceiling Irish décor and craftsmanship. Norse vikings were in Ireland. I'd definitely go again but only if we had Ben. The decor is great, a mix between pub and pretend indoor castle, and the wait staff is friendly. Service can be good, or bad. I had the vegetarian chili. The fish was well fried but still moist inside.

Do not forget to check out some Irish-inspired deserts at The Kinsale Irish Pub, which includes the Kinsale mud pie, flourless chocolate torte and mango passion fruit cheesecake. They have a boatload of whiskey and a tidy little beer selection. If I had been a little more drunk any of the times I walked by here I'm positive I would of thrown a rock or something at the speakers to try to make the awful noises stop. I've done brunch and dinner here and was content if not joyous about my meals. I think I'm spoiled when it comes down to that so I expect a handful in every glass.
